With an appetite for the unique and pushing themselves to the limits, these tales from the road, recorded on the road, will have you on the edge of your seat. Focusing on the weird, wonderful and sometimes scary elements of adventure travel both at home and abroad, it’s as much about the journey as it is getting home in one piece.

Aaron Shanks

is a 33 year old from the East Coast of Australia. Having spent much of the past 13 years on the road, and showing no signs of slowing, his drive to push himself into foreign cultures and experiences has in turn built his vault of adventure rich stories. From purchasing a yacht with two mates and sailing around Asia, to surviving on an uninhabited island in Central Queensland living solely off the land, to backpacking around the world, to Surfing in the Arctic and crossing the Arctic mountains solo camping in self built snow caves, it’s been an intrepid journey. With a home base at an off-grid location in Australia, he is able to return home to the pristine coastal areas of northern New South Wales and recharge the batteries away from the high octane adventure that he seeks out abroad.
