Episode Thirty - surfing icon “Andy Mac”

Surfing Icon and radio personality Andy Mac recounts what it was like being a professional surfer in the 1970’s and 80’s. Living through the beach boys era of the 1960’s and rebelling against society to the strum of Jimi Hendrix in the early 70’s. Andy tells us his lifestyle as a Surfer, the highs and lows of World Title losses and wins and his transition into being a well known Radio Host. With a deep passion for the ocean and conservation, Andy was the leading force behind getting the Gold Coast’s famous waves turned into a World Surfing Reserve. http://www.globalwaveconference2020.com.au
